Society of America - The USA's society web site. Content is useful. IDSA
publishes Innovation Magazine.
IHPVA - Interested in
the efficient movement of people over short distances, efficient
transportation or cycling? There is no better place to start than
joining the International Human Powered Vehicles Association. Remember,
the common bicycle is the most efficient form of transportation ever
designed.

- Joe Dawson is an up and coming artist. He was born in Canada and now
painting in Italy and Ireland.
Koldinghus Museum -
A museum dedicated to
Danish Silver. This justifiably
famous museum is housed in a beautiful castle / fortress in Kolding,
Denmark. A "must see" if you have a love of Danish silver.
Musee des Arts
et Metiers - A really wonderful French museum with comprehensive
displays that would be of interest to any industrial designer. It is worth
a trip to Paris just to see this wonderful exhibit. But then again any
reason is a good reason to go to Paris.

- NewDesign Magazine is a new magazine published in Great
Britain. We have heard good things about it.
NorthernSilver.com
- If you like Danish cufflinks and tie
bars, Northern Silver is the reference site for you. A large selection of Georg
Jensen, Hans Hansen, Bent Knudsen and many of the great designers and
silver smithies of Denmark.

Safe Food Online - Safe Food Online is an Irish/English initiative
that attempts to address the issues of safe food. Globally, the handling
of food is very problematic. Did you know that your fridge should always
be kept below 5° Celsius, your freezer should be at -18° Celsius and that

based in Montreal, is always a worthwhile visit when in Montreal.

de Design - The University of Quebec at Montreal has an excellent
exposition room that is a must see for the serious industrial designer.

Quebec is truly a spectacularly beautiful place to visit and an even
better place to live and work. Here is the Province's portal.
Hotel Place
D'Armes - A really wonderful boutique hotel in Old Montreal. Decent
rates, great service and food. It's spotlessly clean with 48 rooms that
have 10 to 12
foot ceilings. Seasoned travelers will appreciate the ultra quiet heating
and air conditioning system. We recommend that you make reservations well in advance if
you wish to stay there.

Trans Continental Tools - Mike, at TransContinental Tools, does a great job at helping Toronto's
goldsmiths with tools and advice. Located on the 6th floor of 21 Dundas
Square, they are open Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings too
